Let CSRA Multimedia preserve your precious audio cassettes.
We started doing it in the mid 1970s – recording music, voice, class lectures, etc. It was much more convenient than using that big reel to reel deck that your big brother gave you when he left for school. They had much better audio quality than the old 8 Track tapes, and were small enough to fit in your shirt pocket.
You may still be occasionally recording music from the radio onto audio cassette. Problem is you can’t listen to your cassettes in your new car that has a CD player.
Many of you had the foresight to record your dear grandmother’s life story on cassette or maybe you sat with your mother or father and got them to relive part of their lives while you had that good ‘ole “shoebox” cassette recording faithfully, preserving their words.
Wouldn’t it be great to have your music collection converted from those useless cassettes to audio CDs or mp3s? How about being able to hear your grandmother’s voice again for the first time in 10, 20, or 30 years?
Good thing you found out about CSRA Multimedia.
CSRA Multimedia can take your audio cassettes and convert them to CDs. A CD will hold 80 minutes of audio so those 60 minute cassette tapes will easily fit on a CD. Those 90- or 120-minute tapes will have to be converted to two CDs.
CSRA Multimedia will be happy to simply convert the audio tape to CD with minimal editing, or we can utilize sophisticated audio software tools to reduce or remove the hiss and low frequency noise that characterize most audio cassette tape recordings.
Even if you still have a useable cassette player, those tapes need to be converted to CDs to preserve the material. Those audio tapes are coated with iron oxide, and should particles fall off, the tape or gets eaten by your cassette player. Part of the audio will be gone forever. It would be a tragedy to lose any of those precious memories.
Please contact CSRA Multimedia soon to convert your audio tapes to CD and MP3.
