Convert your old film movies - Wow - it sure is easier to make home movies now! I'm referring back to the days of film movies and projectors
Rewind the clock back to before 1980, and even in the early 80s. People shot home movies on film, and showed them on a noisy projector.
You watched the movies in 3-minute intervals. That's how long the reel played, unless Dad or Grandpa spliced several small reels together. Then, you got to watch for up to 20 minutes or so. That is, if the film didn't break...
Nowadays, you might have some old films that your parents made. Or, maybe you were the family videographer back then.
Now when you drag them out to watch, you will probably need to get a new projector bulb. Good luck with that. Or, maybe your projector doesn't play at all.
Film movies aren't just a mechanical nightmare to watch. The old reels are degrading a little each year. A day will come when they won't play at all....
