Still Frames From Video Tapes and DVDs
We have heard it over and over again - the only time the whole family was together was in that old video tape that my Dad has; boy, I sure would love to have a picture from that...

What about a special someone’s favorite movie that has a particular scene that they find too funny? Wouldn’t it be great to surprise them on their birthday with a print of that scene? You won’t be able to buy a gift at the store that will mean more or get bigger smiles than presenting your favorite sportsman with a shot of that once in a lifetime fish, such as the one shown below. This image was taken from a VHS tape and became a birthday present.

still frames from tapes and DVDs

Let CSRA Multimedia help you email your buddies a shot of the one that didn’t get away - even if the shot was in an old VHS tape (like the photo above).

CSRA Multimedia can help you if you need to capture frames from video tapes or film movies.

We can grab the frame, clean up the color or black and white material, and then give you a nice print up to 11”X14” or larger.

The size and quality will be highly dependent upon the starting media that we are working with and image quality. Your son’t middle school football game that you shot freehand with a VHS camcorder will not yield stunning 8X10s; many factors, particularly lighting (or usually the lack of it), the shakiness of the camera operator, etc. will all play a role in determining how good the shot will look when we are done. Still, it will be a whole lot better than nothing...

Our 73-year old customer (the little girl shown above) gave her aunt this photo for her 93rd birthday. The photos was taken from an 8mm film conversion, cleaned up and enlarged before printing as a 5”X7” photo. Very nice!

Contact CSRA Multimedia to discuss how to capture still shots from video tapes or DVDs. We’ll help you land the “keeper” for your den or office wall.
